This manga definitely deserves higher than a 9.1. It reminds me a lot of Akatsuki no Yona, in the sense that it's a princess who is now an enemy of her castle and must fend for herself with some trustworthy companions. Although this manga is definitely a little more angsty and makes you want to scream in a good way. If the first ten or so chapters make you want to stop reading, you should really push through!

it's not that bad in my opinion. i mean you don't go from innocent naive girl to a survival-instinct woman in a short span. this seems more realistic which is refreshing to read. i mean it's a good character build. she needs to experience the reality around her. she won't be a sheltered princess after experiencing these type of situations. she is human. she'll learn and adapt. even if she's slow on adapting to people around her, she will slowly learn. anyway, i still love this and will continue to read it.

He fell for her subconsciously. Regardless of how jealous he is to pick that many flowers you've got to have some feelings

Can anyone give me some spoilers? I don't mind even if you spoil me with the ending. I just want to know if these couples will get a happy ending and no cheating or that sort of drama will happen?

I swear everyone I see Mielle, hear her name, hell even see it, I get whiplash. She ruined the whole mood for me when her and her little thotlings are having tea parties and having crusty ass conversations about the weather and Oscar’s dick.

Just gonna put this out there, Chiwoo and Jihyung’s relationship was way too (romantically-wise it’s very one-sided you could say) obsessive (one sided also) and indisputably, toxic ( idk how to even describe it ngl...

Even as this manga made me feel all kinds of unease and discomfort, I’m hoping both Chiwoo and Jihyung heal even if not fully (yes they are both victims of somethin’ and it’s really saddening for the viewers to read, because the two “friends” didn’t break it off the moment it got to straight up violence and harassment.) Reading this gave me so much pain because it’s what could happen to any of us.

I’m not an expert on these kinds of topics but, bear with me, I’m hoping that both Chiwoo and Jihyufind find healthy love. Not just for these two fictional characters, but for you guys as well. Always learn to give yourself a little bit of love even if no one’s willing/not there with you to give some..

At the end of the day, you can love and miss someone bad, but you are *fine* with never seeing them again.. know this? Their relationship couldn’t be anything beyond the point of madness because it clearly took a terrible toll on the both of them..

Maybe some of you think Jihyung could be given another chance, but no—personally I think not. It is sad, but it is time to move on. Not with all the things he did to Chiwoo, and even the things he did to INNOCENT people. He harmed them, and that is not okay. He didn’t kill anyone, yet he was a dangerous person that needed lots of love and empathy. It was time to let go for the both of them.

This was totally saddening to read but definitely a meritorious tale of reality. “Back to School” truly gives depth to what it means to forgive but never forget. Let go of the past, don’t let it define you, and remember— come out as a better person.

I hope you all walked away from this manga learning something, whether this situation relates to you or not. That’s all I have to say.

Oh wow, what a great way to introduce the story. Having the mc be stabbed in the first chapter is really such a classic. Amazing, what’s gonna happen now? Is she gonna bibbidy bobbidy boo herself back to life?

But...Lawrence? (Her brother) doesn’t seem all that interested in being the next ruler ngl. He just seems to be ...going along with it? Like I genuinely think that he’s a psycho, someone who doesn’t really have emotions. Not the psycho that becomes a mass murderer. So someone with psycho tendencies then? And so when our fl schemes these things, and is genuinely being a puppet as well to their mother, I think he may have put the two into the same box? And the same with his wife, because she liked our fl. And so he felt like getting rid of them was the best option? I realllly don’t know. He’s not right in the head either way, and I’m not excusing his behaviour what so ever, but I could see a potential different future for her brother? Not her mother though. I really do get this feeling that he kinda just wants to be left alone. He’s not being put into the light to much, and he just sorta shows up, asks questions then leaves. He’s done nothing that’s cruel (yet). He just seems to not gaf. Again, I think he’s at the cusp right now, the knifes edge so to speak. It’ll be an interesting read. And if anyone knows otherwise, please spoil me.

HE ASKS HER TO MARRY HIM BUT SHE DIDN’T SAY YES BUT I’M PRETTY SURE SHE’S THINKING ON IT-! HE KEEPS ON VISITING HER AND THEY START SPENDING MORE TIME TOGETHER!!!

ALSO SHE STANDS UP TO THE DUCHESS WHEN SHE TRIES SLAPPING HER AGAIN.

THE NEXT COUPLE CHAPTERS ARE GOING TO BE SO SATISFYING BTW!!!

If you haven’t read this one or finished it, please do. It makes me wanna day “thank you for hurting me”. It’s so touching and literally changed the way I view human life and how valuable it is. I’m a very nihilistic person who just doesn’t care if I die and living is just whatever, but after this manga it really isn’t just whatever, living and loving are some elements so key and important to being human and being vulnerable to others and somehow this manga has perfectly encapsulated that in 60 chapters. The pain I feel in my chest is with good reason, I feel like I will remember Philippa and Colin for a long while. This manga tore me down and rebuilt me. My absolute favorite and just an incredibly amazing look at human life.

Hi guys ! Even if the art is really beautiful, I'd recommend to read the novel, which is to me more subtle and complete than the webtoon (づ￣ ³￣)づ

With how amazing this is. It's so original and bittersweet. Every aspect of this story is well thought out and executed. It is so underrated. I loved it so much I went and bought it on Tapas. Theres an anime somewhere and I'm dying to watch it. If anyone knows how or where, I would love you forever.
