fcking tore my heart i did think it tried to be emo and all, esp with the shooting jesus' statue and the 2 dimensional parents, but like the genuine absurdism of their situation just made me bawl my eyes out. imagine being born with a shtty life like these two, having a taste of freedom, and then in a twist of fate, they're pulled back forcefully as if their tragedy was doomed from the start (when they hit maria accidentally, and then it began spiraling downwards). i just like stories like these. kinda reminds me of greek tragedies.

def a great read but dont rack your brains too much like bro, spoiler....!!! in the first chapters, how tf did uke and his ex track seme's car and went inside it. then when seme's dad got kindapped, how tf did they track him and why does he have no security despite being yakuza or some sht and got kidnapped. then whatever happened to the last chapter, like im so confused!!!!

oof, needs to be longer like wtf happened to sentarou's dreams. i like how it's a unique bl parenting tho, kinda realistic bc it's dysfuctional. eg, like imagine having a shtty life and then thrusted with fatherhood, i get the annoyance. megu deserves better than all those around her, even with the grandma bc why put those 2 dudes into that and try to fulfill ririko's will when u should think of megu first, like idk let her be adopted lol. well, it all works out in the end i guess (づ￣ ³￣)づ
It is def a great read, has a lot of depth especially the uke (one of the best bl mcs for snapping dicks in half), the revenge couldve been better but ig that's south korea's justice system for you lol. my issue is that the story tries to paint this realistic picture but the rapes scenes are drawn and written to be gratifying, like girl... then there's the others not getting enough consequences (like the chairman i think only got 5 years, prosecutor not even jailed, and fcking rieder). with rieder, i feel like theyre gonna try to make a story with him but dude doesnt deserve it, for putting mc and possibly others through hell. the revenge was just unsatisfying ig, well at least theyre happy.
i didnt expect it that much to cook. i thought it'll be just psychological psycho killer, but it turned out much deeper than that, like really really deep.
Even the Fawkes reveal surprised me bc I thought he would just be another psycho who's inlove with Shavonne, but no the reason behind what he was doing made so much sense. I think this was the turning point, and every thread of mystery tied up nearing the end. Like it was just so masterfully done.
Also, Shavonne ╥﹏╥ His inner monologues just resonated with me so much. I'm glad it ended on a good note, they deserve it.
