I’ve read the novel and the pacing was actually fine. Yes, mc is a bit dumb but it made more sense in the novel. It’s just Idk why but chinese manhuas always have suckass pacing and they always make the story feel flat and one dimensional. Also its confusing without the smex scenes LMAO but love the art!
