She's honestly so dumb. Idk I would find it frustrating if I was in Alphonso's place. If my lover and I were on a date and my lover would keep talking about work and invite others for dinner just to end up talking about work, I'd be super annoyed.

I completely agree. I kind of wished the author made Alphonse get upset (not necessarily mad but more sad), and she would understand that its very inconsiderate when your significant other plans out a date, and she just invites someone else and talks about work. I understand how she is very passionate about tea, and that is all good. But you shouldn't completely forget about your lover on a date.
I'm glad she's no longer depending on the men around her to save her and I'm happy she's becoming sincere towards the people she can actually trust.
