remember in the first lifetime, zero/jeroh took control of everything so after they buried her husband, the brother got hold of the will and she had no idea of what was happening. probably the same for the ml, every time he tries to get hold of her the brother in law probably intervenes.
in this 2nd life, she got out before everything gets worse. i dont think he came back early, she mentioned that in her 1st life, she was busy mourning the death of her family that she didnt noticed there was a festival.

I think he couldn't find her early in the first life. He came back around the same time, but in this life, she happened to be in the city to where he returned and they could reunite early.

Also he was under the assumption that she had gotten married, so maybe decided not to reach out to her

Maybe not .. because here despite knowing that he still came for her and even confronted her about the letter ..I think he would do the same in the first life

It will get better in season 2, I hope. (〜￣△￣)〜If I remember correctly, there’s a reason why she’s running away from Nox aside from her not wanting to change the original story(main reason). It is connected to Amy’s family being fugitives. She loves him, but there are many factors why she can’t. You’ll notice them in Chapter 23? 24? when her sister said that Amy’s decision was the best for all of them. They want to be hidden as long as possible. They didn’t want to any person to be branded as traitors as well. :)

She was originally a noble, but the imperial family targeted them because they produce geniuses or something like that (born with good swordsmanship skills, high affinity to mana, ancient magical powers, etc...) and the imperial family wants that (villain). I forgot why they were labelled as traitors, but Amy don’t want to drag Nox to this problem. Nox and his mother didn’t agree tho. (=・ω・=)

there’s other reason why she keep running away. it’s not only bc she doesn’t want to change the novel. also, you would also want to leave if someone, no matter how hot they are, kidnap you lmao

Well, if the 1st meeting was done through kidnapping then of course it's logical to want to run away but their 1st meeting was fine & she knows he's a good guy

U know like how when an anime series changed studio and the art went downhill?

I think most of the ppl who are salty about the art changes KNOW TOO, that art of promo and actual manga/hua/hwa are of different artist in every manga. There are rare cases when they're both drawn by the same artist. So being salty about it is having double standards and disrespecting author's decision and work too.

I get what u mean but usually the difference in art style is still pretty & easy on the eyes. Not that i'm saying this art style is ugly, every artist has their own style but this does look like a rough sketch rather than normal manhwa?
