The goddess is a bitch & no doubt everyone hate her but i also kinda don't like the mc..i get that he's a good guy & all that it's just somehow as a person he's kinda annoying?? He's really slow to realise something when that thing is pretty obvious. It really annoyed me when he fought the lancer & sophia..like dude, if u want people to know u hate the goddess & not her pawn say it out loud...what's the point of denying their accusation in your mind?? Tell them that..& somehow he's also seems twisted & hypocrite??
P/s: don't mind me if you disagree. This is just my rant on the mc

Ur points r valid and I agree to some extent; at this point of the story, the mc is too innocent and naive. Most of the work were usually done by his subordinates, which is y he remained slow in reacting to certain scenarios; he didnt get to truly experience reading between the lines and acting quickly to certain schemes. This is known by the author and it will kinda come into play later. All I can say is... it's for the best.
Also from the way I viewed his fight with sophia & lancer, I thought he couldnt communicate properly since they were fighting? Or maybe I may have missed something? Idk- memory is shite.
Lastly, could u elaborate on the twisted and hypocrite part? :3 im interested to know ur perspective on y u viewed him that way

If u don't mind spoilers then read the rest of my msg
The last time I've read the novel was at least 4-5 yrs ago and my memory is hella terrible, so I dont remember most of the details.
Well- hopefully this is enough flavour text to avoid it from being seen since mangago reply system isnt that great at hiding spoilers...

I remember at a certain point in the story, another character touched the topic of the mc being too naive with his words and actions; I remember that his subordinates werent there to assist him, so he was basically got put on the spot with all evidence against him. It basically blew his cover, and he learned how naive he was. I guess that part was about his development since it made the mc fully acknowledge his faults and act upon it.
At that time, it got me quite excited since most of the small handful of stories ive read that time didnt really touch on the mc's faults, but this one did, so it was a new thing back then for me; a reason y it was a memorable moment for me I guess.
Also, I don't remember the events prior to this, but I do remember them talking about alternate timelines; where mc didnt meet his subordinates, or when he had relationships with his subordinates, etc etc. During those times, mc was really... twisted? His view of life was quite harsh due to several reasons; close-to-death scenarios in the wilderness, betrayal, detachment, etc etc (I say that cuz I dont remember much; I just remember him being really twisted in those timelines). It really showed that him being sorta innocent, trusting, and naive made a better timeline overall (at least that's how I took it).
I dont remember the purpose of showing these alternate timelines since my memory is terrible and I dont wanna say info that I am really unsure of, so yea- those r the fragments of memories that I remember.
Anyway, I rambled too much, I dunno if any of that info helped a bit tho. Hopefully another person who remembers better could explain the events better.

Have the twins come to their sense yet?? Have they been slap & punch in the gut w/ betrayal & reality yet?? I've stopped reading this when the twin decided to be a dumbass by moving & trust that obviously evil duke..i want to continue reading if they have realise that they are being stupid so someone please tell me are they still dumb or have they realise that they king is a good guy
