Seungho didn't go home so he was reported missing.. I think they found him after a while hiding in the sports warehouse.

No that's not why the police came.. Just think about it, will the police come every time a student punches another student? Nope, that's school's responsibility and so they'll call the parents and suspend the student.. that's why his mom came to school and slapped him in front of everyone.

Yeah my take is that he went missing/hiding in the warehouse all night out of frustration for Dohyun, and police was looking for him. They found him on the warehouse in the morning (along with all the dirty things in there) and later his classmates mocked him for that, which resulted in him punching the students and even the teacher.
