I don't love tragedy but this ending just felt cheap. He should've died, this kind of loophole type thing just feels like a cop out so there can be a happy ending. I think it would've been more beautiful if he died and they had to accept that reality.
I agree, it would’ve been better if he died and it showed all his memories and the good ones with his true love I could’ve cried to that or hell have him reincarnated the ending was too quick and easy it was like the author slapped the ending together
