I thought that he was actually gonna make fun of mielle then I remembered that she told the prince that her name is mielle... idc though , our fl got a crown prince twisted around her finger
she never told him her name, he assumed Aria was Mielle since he saw the Roscente's family crest on the carriage Aria was riding.
And since he didn't thought of Aria as 'Aria' because of the rumours of her spoilt-brat attitude that spread around before she changed.
