This manhua is singlehandedly the most traumatizing manhua I've ever read. I've read killing stalking; I've read others- but this was mentally taxing to read (even after the third time).
It's such a bittersweet story. To love someone so much that you would suffer in silence because you're scared of being hated any more. To even die in the end, holding onto your last happy memory with this trash bag because there was no happy memories that came after that. It seemed like it was more obligation that they stayed together, only because they spent 10 years (and more) together and suffered together that they thought it could work out.
I feel so bad for Ai Ziyu.. To have your role be someone who can save lives but not being able to save the one you love, and also for them to not want to receive the help.. he must have felt so powerless and guilty. To love them and hold onto them in their final moments yet still not having his love be recognised or reciprocated.
I hope Jiang Wenxu lives a long life :) not happily tho. I want him to suffer while being alive. But not die to be reunited with Zhishu, he doesn't deserve it. He singlehandedly ruined many people's lives with his selfishness and arrogance. He only gained his position and status because of Zhishu's father's business that was handed to him. And as soon as he got money, he began to fool around. He ruined the life of a freshly out of uni student, who didn't know better. He thought he was truly loved, but ended up being played by Jiang Wenxu and thrown aside, only to die a harsh death. He was also a victim in this. He only acted the way he did to Zhishu because he was convinced he was loved by Wenxu. So overall, it's all Jiang Wenxu's fault.
It's like when men justify cheating on their partners because men can cheat a million times and still love their partners. It's just for simple physical pleasures. Whereas if women cheat, then it's because they don't love them anymore.... cheaters are scared of being cheated on because they somehow develope this unbreakable pride that they value so much. They think they have it all, to be playing with other peoples emotions... he should rot.

It was soo goood!! Until they rushed the ending.. it's disappointing because it had so much potential- they were building up this amazing end-game but it all just ended in one chapter... what??
The main couple being split so that he would marry Yulica instead; they didn't really let it set in for very long before everything went back to normal. No time to elaborate on heartbreak. They made it seem like a lot of time had passed since they were forbidden from seeing eachother, but it was only one or two chapters, so it didn't build up the feels for the readers.
They didn't elaborate too much on Noe's role in this story. Why was he keeping Dante's body hostage? Why did he resurrect Dante in FL? How is he just gonna die as soon as...?? Whut? There was no suspense. It was all so fast.
Why did they keep mentioning Yulica's learning magic only for her to use it once then be useless? I was really hoping she would use her knowledge to help with Noe or something. But even until the end, she was someone who was naive and easily taken advantage of. I was liking her and was hoping she'd end up being useful, but no..
If Empress Dowager has sacrificed Dante's body instead of a random person's, then I would understand more how it was such a big part that the dragon was sealed inside Dante.. but that didn't even happen.
I was also hoping there would be an EPIC fight at the end. But they won simply with ONE arrow?? And who was that unconscious being inside her? Whut?
It's just overall kinda disappointing.

I did overall enjoy it, but there were moments when it was hard to enjoy.
There's way too many timeskips, and during those time skips they would include important or pivotal information for the storyline. Like how did Hari and Eungene go from flirting, talking about marriage, FINDING OUT SHES GETTING MARRIED TO JOHAN, him blowing on incense, to Eungene marrying her the next day..??
How are they just gonna bypass that Cabel is married now AFTER ONE (KNOWN) MEETING WITH HIS FUTURE WIFE? I WANTED TO SEE THE DEVELOPMENT.
I also wanted to see Eric and Louise's relationship blossom.
AND JUSTICE FOR JOHAN WTF. He literally took such good care of her, built up this whole thing that he was gonna marry Hari, suddenly Hari is a brother-lover, now he ceases to exist and the only time he showed up again was when they BRIEFLY mention that she's gonna marry Johan.... only for them to do him injustice.... Yikes.
It wasn't a horrible read, but I just wished there wasn't so much plot holes and missing context.
Like they hadn't quite yet convinced me why it's okay for Hari and Eungene to be together... I know they're not even related by even a speck of blood, but it still feel morally wrong, and they didn't really do a good job of convincing us of this icky incestuous feel to their relationship idk..... but they're still cute at the end- AFTER she got her original name back.

*Spoiler*
Hello,
I think that the chapter that mention her wedding with Johan is a flashback to explain the point of view of Eugene on the matter and how Hari came back in time in the first place (because of a esterne charm apparently). And in this flashback Cabel is already married but in the new time line it did not already happened.
Hope this clears the confusion on de wedding part.

This author can't commit to nothing about these characters...
Like Jinyeong use to be such a good character. He gave off f-boi vibes but cared for Jihan. But it just seems like the author is really pushing the Jihan Heeseop ship and making him an asshole now.
Tho I still don't like Heeseop as a character, by the clear biasness the author is showing, he's definitely gonna be end-game with Jihan ( ̄へ ̄)
Hyesung, my sweet naive baby boy TT_TT you're too sweet for this world...
You're literally perfect in every way. It's so sad that there's this ongoing insecurity that's making it harder for him to be happy in this relationship where his boyfriend is a little bit of a ho ho and constantly gets compared to his previous REPERTOIRE OF SKINNY MEN.
Honestly I don't like Jungwon that much.. but it seems like he's trying to be considerate of Hyesung. Idk if it's because he actually GENUINELY loves Hyesung of what.. but I just don't like him.
I’m sorry but I don’t think jungwon loves hyesung at all. Nothing about their relationship exists outside of sex and it seems that jungwon takes advantage of all of his relationships. It seems as though if someone doesn’t serve him anymore he throws them away like trash and I feel he would do the same to hyesung in a heartbeat if he no longer provided for him.
