Well, I sure wasn’t expecting that, when the seme removed the blindfold, I had to pause for a minute. I was sad, disgusted but also full of admiration because Harada always does the unexpected.
Personally, I think the exploration of mental health and gender was a little rocky but for a oneshot I liked that Harada was exploring these topics and I’m looking forward to seeing them create a series that delves into gender identity or mental health in a very Harada way.

I sense that Inhun will try and use the younger master, Seung-won against Seungho. Seung-won clearly doesn’t agree with his older brothers views on things; ignoring letters, having a lowborn in the room during a conversation between masters and not visiting their ill father.
I know that Inhun is here only as a bribe for Na-kyum to paint but it seems like everything is working in Inhun’s favour. All of this digging around, maybe his hatred for Seungho is rooted deep within the family. Could it be that maybe Inhun’s family were blamed for treason or maybe he is trying to find something dirty that will destroy Seungho’s family name.

I thought Herma was a clever name choice, it made me think of Hermaphroditus who is androgynous and a symbol of effeminacy much like our Herma who has an effeminate look and likes “pretty clothes”.
I would love to see a continuation but at the same time it was short and sweet so I’m satisfied with the ending.

Does anyone else miss Sir Jihwa? I know I was cussing him out before but I miss how messy he was.
Sir Inhun’s character to me is just an annoyance, his presence is merely an excuse for Na-Kyum to be mistreated. Sir Jihwa on the other hand was predictable, since he acted out on his emotions but even so he was able to bring out the rage in me.
Arguably, whether it is Inhun or Jihwa, Seungho will still have an excuse to mistreat poor Na-Kyum, which is why I think it might be time to introduce a new character to add some more dynamics.

When Jack said “He is both my source of suffering... and my reason to live.” it reminded me of the tattoo Uta has from Tokyo Ghoul which says "I can live neither with you, nor without you."
There’s a balance of admiration and jealousy that Jack has for Legosi, it’s something that we’ve seen here and there throughout the story but hearing Jack express just how different Dogs are from their Ancestors (Wolves) was actually kinda emotional and my heart when he said Legosi is his coolest ancestor ಥ‿ಥ

I absolutely adore the way this is illustrated, every panel has meaning and it’s breathtaking. Page thirty of chapter five took my breath away, no exaggeration, it reminded me of one of my favourite pieces of art ‘The Kiss’ by Gustav Klimt.
If you’ve never seen it, I recommend you check it out for it’s been recreated across different mediums many times. In the opening of Elfen Lied they payed homage to it and also in Innocent by Sakamoto Shinichi there’s a panel of the two Marie’s embracing just like it. The Kiss is truly a powerful piece and it works well with this story.
The way Yuuji holds Michiru so tenderly yet protectively shows how much he cherishes him and it’s a shame that Michiru thinks that Yuuji will up and leave him at any given opportunity. I hope Michiru will understand how much Yuuji loves him because this is a good opportunity for Yuuji and Michiru has no right to thwart it.

There’s a stigma around ones sexual promiscuity and so far this manga is showing exactly that. When I look at the comments, the uke is branded as slutty for having multiple partners in the prologue. Which was smart because first impressions leave an impression, regardless of his circumstances, readers will remember his first appearance.
It made me think about the double standards of women being sexually promiscuous in comparison to men. For instance a woman could have ten sexual partners and be branded a slut, yet a man could have ten sexual partners and be branded a legend.
The same goes for the uke in a lot of manga, when they sleep around. There’s a huge power complex between the giving and receiving roles in sexual relationships. I’m not sure if that’s part of the message the author is trying to convey but from the first few chapters and reading the comments, the stigma around sexual promiscuity will always shame the one who receives but never shames the one that gives.

The way it transitioned to Sir Inhun with nothing but “...” makes me wonder if his room is close to Na Kyum’s and if he had heard his name being called because let’s be real, Seungho clearly doesn’t favour Inhun so he’ll be killing two birds with one stone; tainting Na Kyum and having Inhun hear.
Inhun had to have heard because that look of exhaustion is my exact face when it’s heat season and the neighbourhood cats are getting their walls blasted at 3am.
Also I wonder if Seungho felt a little empty at the end when Na Kyum confessed, since the confession was to Sir Inhun and not himself. The fact he had Na Kyum call him Lord shows he was done deceiving and playing up to Na Kyum’s drunken illusion. He wanted Na Kyum to see him.

You know, I really do think this was the turning point for Seungho, maybe he finally realised why he finds Na Kyum interesting. I think he felt a little guilty like “damn this guy really is out of it” and that made him a little sad knowing that Na Kyum is only bending to his will because he thinks he’s someone else (‘~`;)
What if the Culprit is Seungho and the reason Chamin feels so uneasy around Kwon is because Kwon is twins with Seungho.
Hear me out, at first I thought it could be split personality, one side of Kwon is this perfect hyung and the other side was the attacker that’s obsessed with Hyunwoo but then how would that explain the incoming call from someone named “Fox” who we learn is Seungho. Then there’s the “I found you”, the voice sounding much like the suspects yet that could all be a twist because sometimes siblings can sound similar, especially some twins.
With Chamin, I feel like he senses the same vibe from Kwon based on his flashbacks and that’s making him suspect that he’s suspicious, especially the fact that he’s digging around to see if Hyungwoo has discovered anything and getting him drunk with obvious ill intentions.
The thing we have to look for is if Kwon has a scar on his wrist, if he does then this theory goes out the window because Kwon would obviously be the culprit however if his wrists are scarless then maybe he does have a twin and this theory wasn’t so wild after all.
