Guys it's a work of fantasy, can we please be a bit more civil, every human being is different and has his own way of seeing things but this doesn't mean that we cannot express our opinion politely, some people like this manga for the art but hate rape scenes others love it for the plot or because they find it erotic, we all here for different reasons but there's no need to get angry for a comment.

Guys the chapter 38 is cute and all... buuuut can we stop romanticize abusive relationship? It's creepy, the master is a really complex character with many emotional problems and obviously has a disturbing fixation on the painter it's not "adorable"

Yeah, I agree. Everything's been said already and we all know it. Then, moving on, no harm in just having some fun, even with sigle panels taken out of context, and expressing some thirst over beautiful art. Really, no need to police and devour it every time. There are times people get deep into theories and seriousness of the story, and then there's times we just make fun comments that break the tension.

The problem here isn't you finding it strange but it's you policing people. You find it strange? Okay. Then just leave your opinion and go. You didn't have to put "But can we stop blah blah blah".
If you needed to understand how people can find it cute or romantic then simply ask in a non condescending tone. Everything you said in your original post sounds more like a policing statement than simply stating your opinion.

Creepy?
This is not the first Yaoi yaoi portraying obssessive love and it won't as long as Yaoi will exist. We are here for the ride and if you're not you're free to move.
People are complaining when Seungho is raping the lil painter, are complaining when he is not raping lil painter... WTF do people want Seungho to do in?
┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
Even someone like him has the right to cuddle and find comfort, even him has the right to wanting to find love and to be loved, plus they're the pairing in this BL.
If you hate on the Male Lead, just move to another BL out there, there are tons Yaoi with gentlemen Semes.

Also If you think about it, only the first time was rape and it was very dubious ( not saying it wasn’t rape ,but there are kinda ... not levels of it, but you know circumstances or something. Idk how to express it but the whole situation was not horrendous) also the second time even though he was coerced, he was non-the-less given a choice, true the seme is an asshole, a grade A one at that, but the uke isn’t so innocent either, he may act like it but it’s very obvious that he’s letting his inner demons take control, so don’t blame everything on the seme when we all know he’s an asshole,

Yeah, there's rape in this one, no one will deny it and it was discussed so many times already... in long and large... But here comes again the toxicity of this comment section.
Agree with you, even if Seungho is a mean devil asshole, Nak also was given the choice some times (like the time he came back with Learn Shit), but he chose he'd do everything the Lord wants (and Nak knew what this meant).
Yeah, there are crazier plots with rape than this one, where the Uke would get gangraped and raped by different partners afterwards, strangled, humiliated verbally etc... Compared to these POTN is light, so I don't understand why certain are making such fuss over this one.

We all know that there are plots infinitely worse than this one, although this relationship is getting a bit too romantic(it's not realistic) the guy was raped, manipulated and abused a lot only "two seconds ago" ,Are we all gonna forget it 'cause the master is cute? Okay, I get it! It's not real, It's a work of fantasy! Then why getting angry about a comment that express a different opinion? it's logical that some people gonna be upset about the rape but this doesn't mean that they don't like the story they simply gonna express they thoughts

The idea is of course not about them expressing their opinion, but the way they express it, and how the other comments along the way kinda spiraled downhill but it's ok this is actually the healthiest conversation in all the comments here. Also there’s the whole idea that the author knows what they’re doing and the story is still at its start, so it’s a bit too early to judge on the seme’s character and why he is like this

I don't see it as "romantic" at this point yet, but it's ok if you do.
This plot being romanticised by the shippers is different from it being romantic.
All I can see is a Nakyum being afraid and still scared of Seungho, although he's not panicked he clearly doesn't want to stay close to Seungho, and although his body may react to the Lord, his heart isn't in love yet. At all.
I think most of us know it, though this is BL and we are here for romance so those who ship the pairing are just happy to see the story progress towards a healthier relationship rather than sex and only sex.
Saying this, nobody had forgotten what happened to Nakyum, but it's good to evolute with the story also, and not always bring what happened in the past.
It's okay to express your dislike on a story, but what angers the most is woke people who shame others for liking what they like in BL.

You've expressed my thoughts very well, thanks! I think that, apart from love stuff, what is probably more likely to happen is SH's role in freeing Nakyums sexuality, which at the moment is repressed and the boy is suffering and guilt tripping every time he has any thoughts or feelings. So what I would personally like to see, apart from natural development, is Nakyum learning that's ok to feel what he feels and do what he wants to do. It's been made clear that he's not innocent and has desires, and that SH caught that well. Though SH's way about it has been a far cry till now, though it looks like we might see the change in him and more healthy, considerate encounters.

I'm glad you appreciated and thank you also for your great feed back!
Yeah I'm totally agree with what you say and I think that effectively, little by little, Seungho's presence will awake this sensuality Nak repressed (because of the teacher) and will make him feel better abouth his own sexuality, therefore feels no guilt anymore about the sexual nature of humans or the fact he's gay.
About this last point, I will be interested to know how the kid, so small as he was, was able to draw such erotic paintings involving men; was he made the witness of such acts? (Poor child). Did he overheard about gay love, gay sex in the Kiseang house, and just painted them with imagination? He was a really precocious kid (⊙…⊙ )
Maybe we'll never know about this...
Since he's a healthy young man, of course he'll be aroused if his senses and eyes are stimulated Or him having (repressed) erotic dreams... Remember when he was drunk and confessed to the one (Seungho) he thought was his teacher: he told him "I pinned for you, my Learned Sir". That took me quite off guard; even repressed lust and thanks to the alcohol, NK was able to say this to his adored teacher without hesitation.
Even if the boy was drunk, Seungho must also be surprised by that sudden sensuality he didn't suspect in the innocent looking painter.
The drunk sex can show us an idea of how can be sensual and erotic Nakyum when he's not hindered by anything, guilt or discomfort, and when he's in love with his partner. That sight NK never showed to anyone, as we know, was surely the main reason why Seungho became obssessed with the painter.
Seungho might fight his father over his sexuality because he's homosexual, but I believe this is the first time he falls in love with someone.
It's NATURE.
I'M CRYING HAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA
