A pedophile is someone attracted to very young people and these characters are respectively 17 years old (they are not kids anymore c'mon), not to forget that these characters don't exist, they are fictional. Instead of going to defend pixels you should go to defend the real victims of pedophilia.

While I get the characters are fictional, the sexualization of minors has been a real problem that needs to be addressed especially in entertainment. This is why we have people that call themselves MAPS. I don't know the age of consent in Japan, but in other countries, it's 18. So if we apply this rule here, they are still minors. Saying people should "go to defend the real victims of pedophilia." is such a weak excuse. I could get why people would be uncomfortable with that. But I do think calling the creator a pedo is too far.
