I've reread this many times over the years and I'm back again just to say that at this point Yokoshima is the most sympathetic character. I wish Kasuya wasn't such a terrible person (love him though) because now I have no choice but to feel sorry for the "antagonist." I miss when that stuff was all just subtext and not pure text 'cause it gives me a lot of cognitive dissonance thinking about it. If Kasuya hadn't been such a dick Yokoshima would never have done what he did...
