I understand that Yuri has his troubles, but come on, it is clear that Jaerim feels troubled of his actions, and jaerim feels worse and worse everyday because he doesn't know what's going on. Yuri even have the nerve to disappear suddenly without minding how Jaerim would feel. (seriously, I don't want to remember such pain nor do i want to recall my past experience but that was damn painful. You have to live everyday with increasing anxiety because you really really really don't know what the fuck is happening and everything in front of you just crumbles and no matter what you do, nothing gets fixed and your help, effort, and support seems futile)

welp, at least, we have Mr. convenient plot tool to move things around, maybe then Yuri would realize that he has to move forward and, to protect and cherish the things he holds dear.

One of the things I like about this is that I don't love the characters all throughout the story, in some parts, I extremely dislike them, disagree with them, or even loathe them, however, in some parts, I admire them. They might have some outrageous qualities I may find detestable or lovable, but the love-hate feelings I have for them is quite similar to how I feel with people around me.

They feel quite human to me, I'm not sure if I'm the only one feeling this or maybe I'm just too emotional or sentimental today...

I rather have Irie tolerate the pain of being friends (having a non-romantic relationship) with someone you like than establishing a romantic relationship where you, as a lover, expect romantic stuff.

I don't think this is not just a question of Kousuke's lack of experience in the field of romance, it's more of a question of whether Kousuke actually hold romantic feelings towards Irie. So far, it seems to me that the reason he doesn't want to let go of Irie is that he is afraid of losing a friend.

oh, I know, this would most likely end with Kousuke actually liking Irie and the two living happily ever after. But what I want to raise as a point is that, establishing a relationship under such circumstances feels more painful than being a non-romantic partner aka friend where you know that you don't have any right, nor privilege (just wishful thinking) to expect some romantic progress.

But we still have yet to see from Kousuke's point of view, so let's not disregard some possibilities that may suddenly unveil as the story progresses.

I do get it that Ono might be too desperate in saving Ikumi that he might have unintentionally inflicted bruises during the CPR (someone needs to learn how to calm down in doing CPR)

but what if that desperation to save him might actually kill Ikumi in the end?
