Okay, but to be honest I actually didn't mind the ending. Yes, it was kind of lame that there was no huge showdown when Sangwoo actually died, but I don't actually mind the death itself. The end of Sangwoo and Bum's lives was a poetic, fitting ending. I honestly can't see how they'd ever end up together; they would both eventually be driven to insanity by their trauma, and Sangwoo would only become abusive again to Yoonbum in the end (I know up until the climax Sangwoo was actually pretty good to Bum because he had become desperate and independent, but I'm sure that would've shifted again at the slightest of slip ups). It's sad yes, but I think it's ultimately better this way, rather than live an unhealthy life in a toxic, unfulfilling relationship that just ends up going around in a circle. I feel sad for both of them, and wished they could've gotten help, but I don't mind how it went.
