As far as i know he’s stuck in a time loop that repeats every time the MC dies. i saw someone say that the scar is from him trying to kill himself

Is it a time loop? Since the ML doesn't seem to go back in time, he still has past scars and everything. Remember in the beginning the MC had been asleep for 2 or 3 days and woke up. Is he just dying and waking back up alive in his bed at a later date everytime?

Time loop as a scenario that repeats but only ML remember or experience. I would guess it’s like a game restarting or a bunch of different universe he’s going through. So everyone else would just know that one works they’re currently experiencing because they only exist in that universe. Or it’s restarting and everyone’s memories vanish, but since ML never “respawn” his scar and memory would stay intact?…

every time mc dies, ml goes back in time. ml is one of the causes of the apocalypse bc he accidentally touched some stuff in a lab without realising it while drinking with his roommate and some classmates. ml hated mc in the first few rounds bc he kept going back in time because of him, but he eventually fell in love with him anyway. every scar he has are traces of injuries from his regressions. his neck scar was caused by him slicing his own throat after mc sacrificed himself to save him in the life before the current one. in the first life before the regressions, he was running away from his classmate who had turned into a zombie and banged on random dorm rooms and the one who opened their door was mc. mc dies in this timeline while checking if another floor was safe for other survivors (basically sacrifice) and ml finds him. ml already noticed mc before the start of the zombie apocalypse. ml has always been convinced mc hated him so thats why he acts differently this time now that he realises mc is treating him differently from before, and hes a lot more scared to lose mc this time bc this is the only mc he thinks doesnt hate him

mc is basically the 'vaccine' kind of, its thanks to his body that in the end they are able to start researching more on the virus and how to prevent it since mc is immune to it
