While Dabi is having a life hating pity party from being dropped since Shoto came into play at the end of the day everything the Todoroki family went through was Enji’s fault. He started and raised a family out of greed and selfishness, and this is his time to pay for that. Enji needs to pay his fucking dues. I want to see his character evolve and for his family’s sake I hope he makes it out okay. However he deserves every ounce of shit flung at him right now and nobody is sorry.
That’s not to say he doesn’t love his kids. However he mentally abused them then when they couldn’t live up to the expectation of being number one tossed them aside and neglected them. Some of y’all are saying he isn’t a abuser but you’re clearly blind. Just because he doesn’t beat his kids outright doesn’t mean he isn’t one. Rei is no different from turning a blind eye and letting shit happen to Dabi but also Shoto.
