Both of the exs are really shallow and materialistic achievements are really the foundation of their relationship. They are cursed from the beginning as they hurt two innocent hearts by cheating on them. But tbh all the characters are kinda 1 dimensional. Taerin is interesting as she has now started to show more emotions but I really don't understand her ex? How did he degraded so much? It feels kinda forced as nothing bad was shown in their relationship at the beginning just 1-2 instances. This discussion is getting a little too boring as everyone is saying the same thing just in different context.
First thing first. I was not justifying his behavior I was questioning your expectations.
Second, it's fantasy. He is a dragon and his behavior was clearly hinted at the very beginning of the story in first two episodes where he took the mc by force with his black tentacles or whatever, that was a clear hit of his nature. He will put his needs first.
What I see is that you guys had high expectations from this story and the dragon now that it doesn't deliver you're disappointed. But if you read this story again carefully, whatever he is doing won't come as a surprise.
It's wrong, I agree. It does makes you feel uncomfortable which I understood but everything was foreshadowed by the author but if you still wish to cry about it, you can absolutely free to do it.
