remilia has practically lived a good portion of her life doing nothing but watching over emi. rather than seeking love and comfort through her neglectful family, she’s seeks comfort from purely just emi, even wishing to know what life would be like if she could be together with emi in the recent chapter. her entire world basically revolves around whatever can make a more better life emi. every action remilia has taken was chosen purely FOR EMI. even the people she keeps around her, she sees as beneficial for emi. though it is true remilia can eventually shed her facade of emi in the future, the whole reason she’s wearing it was to insure that everyone who followed remilia would see emis kind personality. this entire story is remilia carefully weaving together the perfect life to accommodate emis needs, i rlly doubt if remilia could take part in anything for herself that wouldn’t include the benefit of emi…

this is genuinely just my idea of how the universe *should* work- Remilia is working on her plan, she knows what she wants, and what she wants is toxic because it smoothers her own personality
It's fine to be toxic until revenge is completed, but what about after? When is it that it becomes her life again and not Emi's?
Plus there's what you want, and there's what you need; and I think she needs someone who sees her for who she is. she doesn't want to be seen for herself, and I know it's part of the plan, but I also have an inkling it has something to do with her thinking she's not good enough- whenever she gets a compliment, whenever she gets affection, she always dismisses it, and runs away, saying "oh, it's because it's Emi's Reimilia" I think she needs to be complimented for herself, to be loved for herself (and I love her iykyk)
The only time she ever received that and accepted it was when she was a child, looking through the emotions and opinion of Emi, she deserves more from the narrative I think

maybe bc the story doesn’t delve into remilias other thoughts besides emi, i can’t rlly fathom a remilia whose whole life isn’t solely for emi. but it would b rlly nice if in future chapters remilia can actually share the effort of her love with others, especially if emi is physically present in the future ( ˙꒳˙ )
