I learned this from a spoiler on here so idk if it’s 100% true or not. But apparently Cliff has already realized that he’s in a story & being controlled to obsess over Lize. Since he’s the ml, the voices telling him to follow the plot are stronger, so I guess that’s why he looks crazy/ tired all the time. It’s also why he can’t break away from the plot on his own. The spoiler also said that Cliff really loves/ cares for Killian & wants him to be free from the plot, so that’s why he’s pushing MC & Killian to get closer. He just wants his brother to be happy & break away from Lize’s control. (/TДT)/

You know what? I don’t care if the aunt or uncle had their “reasons” to treat Yanagi like that. Or if they “cared” for him in their own way. Or any other excuse they might give. Fuck them. I’ve heard situations like the grandpa’s before, but I still can’t wrap my head around it. How can you continue to have children & live a “normal” life knowing you gave away your 1st kid. Knowing adoption systems, there’s not a guarantee that she was safe or well mentally & physically (especially mentally). Idk it just makes me so sad.
bc he didn't know. what he knew at the point was that he couldn't provide for both his ill wife and his daughter at the same time. he couldn't afford/get access to medical help, so he had to stay by his wife. the adoption center, however, had free food and provided shelter, and people commonly believe that it could provide children with a better life. so it was the obvious choice. he probably felt that she was in safe hands now, so he continued his life like normal. and it was most likely traumatic for him too and his brain blocked the memory, seeing as he said he forgot all about it. all he could do after that was live on like he always had lmao
