It was like a rough draft. It was hurried. So much that it doesn't look good. I was really excited for it when they published it but when I watched it was like a low quality animation that beats the meaning of "anime"like anime means quality and animation but they just animated it and totally forgot about the quality

the art in the anime was awesome, the quality and the voice actors are awesome,too...what is crap is how they changed the flow of the story and the cuts they did....like they took away the feel somehow....so annoying...

Yall need to stop being assholes he has PTSD wtf, the last empress was jealous of his birth mother and when he was a child abused him to the point where he had panic attacks if he even saw her face one day she told him if you kill this person I'll stop hitting you and refused and she started beating him to get her to stop he started stabbing the person who was laid on the bed covered up the empress started laughing and told him that he killed his birth mother so till this day he still has nightmares and bad panic attacks sorry if that's a bad explanation but that's his "sob story" what happened to him was fucked up and no one deserves to go through that Rosemond was the only one who comforted him that's why he "needs her"
