i don't think this story is the most realistic depiction of an eating disorder. She has to eat at least something vitamins and supplements can only do you so good before your body starts shutting down. Realistically if you don't eat anything you're gonna die of a heart attack or organ failure because your body gas no more fat to burn as energy so it starts eating away at your muscles and you heart is a huge muscleTake it from someone that has an eating disorder.
I suppose she is probably taking in some food. But she's probably not able to keep it in her stomach. Aka probably pukes it.
You can take all your macro and micro nutrients by pill. think like, protein powder and fish oil and fiber pills. They’re not food, and the body will not process them the same way as real food, but it’s feasible. You would probably end up pretty malnourished and cranky, depressed, etc if u didn’t take the right ratios of everything though.
