it would be the same exact story without the reincarnation since it literally has no effect on her actions or choices. I don't know why it was even introduced as a part of the plot. Maybe the author just wanted to leech off of the popularity of the reincarnation genre.
I'm just kinda sad that for her supposedly mental age she sure doesn't act like it... I mean I hoped she would be quite mature atleast a little but... She acts childish..

During her torture scenes she brought up her past life she said she doesnt remember most of it. I think that's why she acts like her age.
I'm pretty sure that she acts childish because she is. I can't explain it well but basically, this novel seems more like a "everybody gets reincarnated and forgets their past life" but because of her severe trauma, she happened to remember like 3 faded memories. When she remembers, it's more like seeing someone else than seeing herself so her mental age should match her actual age if that makes sense
