I adore the best friend! I like that she pushes when she needs to. Her comment about his training days being over is another reality check. I mean I understand there are issues and obstacles they need to get over but sometimes you need that friend to push!

I loved their story! No matter how many times I read it! Although, one thing I never understood was why Ash's mom never told his dad the meaning of the painting. Lol not sure why it bothered me but the story always has an emphasis on communication (at least to me), you would think you'd tell your significant other it's importance
