There’s a certain level of stupid you have to lower yourself to if you wanna read stories like this without getting mad at the ridiculousness, but still… why would they send out an agent who has already been compromised, traumatized, and has a conflict of interest? And during the first mission, instead of blowing his cover why didn’t he just make up an excuse like “I’m keeping these drugs because I’m going to report it to the police and I need proof.”

I thought he became a “reaper” to save himself from being on the altar, but now he’s saying he went to the leader dude himself and asked to become one? And I thought he felt guilty for leading kids to their death, but now he’s saying he only helped kill bad people? Am I trippin

The first one is jintae (dead), who became a “reaper” to save himself from being on the altar and he felt guilty for leading kids to their death. And now the last one who was talking about he went to the leader dude himself and asked to become one and also said that he only helped kill bad people, is songtae (jintae's little stepbrother). Those are different people. I hope it helps.

The summary is basically the same plot of Dreaming of the Dokkaebi lol

Yeah the plot kinda same, shaman and dokkaebi. But it Also kinda different : the other got sealed, And this one got tricked. The other mc's life on danger like he need spirit orb or something to survive, this one no. And This dokkaebi need his club back while the other don't. The art also different and storytelling is also good. So i kinda like both tho.

I seriously keep thinking that the mc is a girl and damn the a/b/o stuff felt so out of left field it’s like the author put it in at the last minute (which ain’t a bad thing, I think content creators should make the content they want to see in the world without needing to worry excessively over its marketability, but like… damn that was sudden lol)
Picking this back up starting from 96, I do miss the earlier art style though. The dark, sharp lines made it really stand out.
