ngl the character design was a bit off putting bc they both look like a photocopy of hachi and matsuro and i dont ship them (hachi & matsuro) but then their personality is totally different like miyami act alot like hachi + mitsuro (he even draged tsubame like how hachi dragged kuma the first time ) and tsubame personality maches a lot like kuma + suzume (even him daydreaming about miyami ) this manga had the same repetitive theme but i didnt mind it at all.
I agree.. although I didn't mind that they looked like hachi and mitsuro. Tsubame is 100% Kuma's personality (stupid and a crybaby... even the fighting). Suzume was silly but smart and good at studying, Mitsuro was smart - I can't believe that their child would be stupid. I wish that Tsubame had been smarter (didn't have to be super smart) and not quite so much of a crybaby. Miyama is a carbon copy of Hachi - even tried to pair with Tsubame that first time just like his parents.
My biggest question is what happened to their yakuza groups? Both Hachi and Suzume were 2nd gen heads...
this is probably the only manga were i love both pairs equally. suzume not forcing himself on mitsuro and always taking care of his needs, like i didnt really felt there's was sum sexual when it came to them it just pure loving suzume being patience and giving his love to mitsuro. mitsuros past was really :( but it was heartwarming how everyone repeatedly told him he deserve love, and he truly deserve all the love from suzume,that melted my heart like how to have tjis kind of understanding partner <3 :(
hachi and kuma started off real questionable but i loved how hachi was the silent type lover his subtle support for everything kuma does and always agreeing to what he wanna do was supper cute (づ￣ ³￣)づ
