Its pretty obvious eugen have romantic feelings for hari and hari too (some strong feelings that i dont want to label as romantic yet) i think they also shared the feelings in the previous life bc despite misunderstandings out of all her siblings she was shown to be closest to eugene(and seem to care about the most or maybe she pitied him(?))
