The thing is, I have read stories like this before. Where the author makes up circumstances to make things not so bad. For example, being lovers in a past life. And you can easily tell when those kinds of things weren’t already meant to be in the story. they always come out as either a surprise or this is why I did all this. It’s not a brand new concept.

it's not the story i find as scary but the fact that people treat those aspects so willy nilly like it's just everyday banter which you infact are also doing even after acknowledging that it is problematic.
It’s not scary per se,I’ve read worse and have let many things go in the name of yaoi.And what is normal in yaoi. I think this has to be the worst “misunderstanding “ story ever. He didn’t state that she was his fiancé in front of that other girl.He let her run away without clearing anything up.And then convoys a story that he proposed to her .And is actively lying to her and her family about what happened. I can’t stand him and he is suspicious. I would have like it better if he had apologized when she woke up and admitted that he was wrong for what he did , and he would still like the chance to marry her.
I kind of like that the hero is a woman. It’s a nice change of pace.
You know I feel like I’m finally able to appreciate how slow their love is turning to be.If you think about it,the fun obviously has trauma, is not a great communicator, and is a introvert.It makes sense why it took him this long to gain feelings or even say he liked her.And she also was dealing with the stress of family betrayal, and figuring out that they also were the cause of her fathers death, and being the wife of someone she hardly knows.
They both had a lot going on, but I’m really starting to like this slow burn.
