I don’t know why the empress thinks that it’s not possible that she would get a divorce. I understand that the previous empresses Allstate even if there were other concubines, but she is not realizing that things can get much much worse from here. I feel like there’s a simple solution of being an empress in a different country but it’s gonna take a while for her to figure that out.
Its a pretty big scandal for the king to divorce the empress for a run away slave the political reprecussions are terrifying thats why she doesn't think it will happen. Not to mention she probably still thinks he has respect for her well being since they have been grommed for that job since childhood. Also moving to become a empress to another country can start a huge war specialy if the country is weaker but rich in resouces.
Empress is actually half right and half wrong. İf not for the ML’s influence on rashta trash (through his bestfriend) Emperor would have never got divorced. But ML planned all that so he could have FL. I’m not saying it’s wrong, she will be more loved and happy but in the end if he didn’t get involved, there would be no divorce, Rashta didn’t have any idea that she could become the empress.

Idk I ended up comparing her to other female leaders who are trying to get revenge for their deaths. They usually turn bad things into good things, like they usually see the bright side of the situation.
But you should know, that she is not the kind to always think positively yet. It's still early for her to suddenly trust something/someone. Especially the fairy, they look suspicious tho. Kinda creepy just seeing their way and characteristics. Even i would be afraid of it.
Its trying to be very realistic. You've been abused and traumatized all your life. Then you learn about fairies and all who can apparently be very evil. Then you gain this power. I wouldn't want it either. A power from an apparently selfish morally wrong evil fairy, yeah right.
