I thought we got Dorothea's character development, but we're back to square one again.
…what character development are talking about, specifically? Because to me she’s acting perfectly in character…her growth was learning to appreciate those around her who loved her and not to go after things that are not hers. So now that she’s getting pushed towards the throne, she sees that as going against everything that she has learned and worked towards. I don’t see where she has ever reached a point where she thinks she should become the emperor again.
Maybe start from not being so self centred in any help or assistance you receive from others, learn to appreciate stuff instead of going off on people who care for you and try to reason instead of blowing up. Hope this helps.

It’s not as if development in one area is going to make her perfect in other aspects as well. Think we'll need some time until she's able to let go, accept and be honest to her past, guilt, and desires. Perhaps when she finally learns to truly forgive herself and be merciful towards herself that we can finally see her as an emperor
For now it felt like she's still in her teen, struggling to grow past the shadows. Whatever the blue hair mofo planning may be the key towards her growth, but we'll see. I'm really looking forward to it ♡
