Was there a part in the original novel where Ain's childhood was revealed? If not, it's totally understandable for her to think she's an innocent child lol, esp since she has prejudices abt them being a daycare center teacher & that she loves kids. She would also naturally blame/be wary of the father who might be the cause of Ain's future. Of course the og Mother is to blame too. (￣∇￣")
