that’s what i thought too! but i reread recently and chapter 33.5 (the authors note) the author was saying the story changed to be a like love triangle type thing and ver was gonna seduce him or something. maybe i didn’t like understand it completely but that’s what i got from the note
I do remember that yeah I think it made a lot of readers anxious, but author clearly wasn't being fr. Nothing in this story is actually giving love triangle. Ken doesn't love Ver and Ver only loves Cain, and tbh Cain saw Ver only as his child, soooo yea

To be fair at her current age I assume she would be the equivalent in age as a human teenager since it seems her village embers her from a more recent time.
So if you consider he old life she would have been a young adult when they actually got together and now they aren’t actually together and even if they were he’s also young at 23 so if you consider the facts it’s not that weird.

ehhhh id still consider it kinda weird still even if she’s mentally a teen or adult. i mean no other elves in the manhwa do that weird age thing, they all look like a young adult or a teen (if they’ve interacted with the mc at one point) so it’s kinda weird that the author purposely made the one character that interacts and says out loud “i love you” to a grown man, look like a child. she can be a million years old for all i care, she was drawn like a child that’s just what’s kinda grossing me out, yknow.
Well I definitely don’t disagree with you I had also noticed in the last however many chapters she had gone to looking MUCH younger. Maybe they had an artist change or the artist was initially confused at the original author’s intentions.
Not sure if this was a novel or not but maybe the author didn’t make mention of her age until much later. There’s also just the potential for miscommunication.
Anyways I don’t think it’s that weird only because in the flashback she looks much older I guess. And that’s who I’m picturing, but def don’t like the younger look.
