I know it's just the plot, and maybe she will get better in time, but I wish someone would just realise that she's not exactly living a good life before. I guess in that time period it's not easy to see it.
But how exactly do you help people like her? She's been abused since she was a child, both physically and mentally. She's a stuttering person, in which sadly to this day people still look down upon. Obviously she has a very low self-esteem, with a very low self-worth. She's working so hard because she's afraid she will be abandoned if she doesn't.
And to make it worst, she thankful that her husband doesn't hate her YET.
She's not healthy. And while some may heal over time, she might not be that. I wish someone could see that, and tell her the truth. Because that's the thing she needs the most. She needs the correct words to reach her. That it's ok for her to be herself. That it's ok for her to make a mistake and people won't hate her just for said mistake. That she can be loved without her needing to be useful to someone.
I'm sorry for rambling like this but it's always sad to see a child be abused like this and grew up thinking they need to be useful in order to be loved.

This is why regressor, especially repeated regression, is the worst type of isekai. With each regression, that person lose themselves even more. Same thing with time loop.
Yoo Joonghyuk should be glad that he stops at his 3rd regression.

While isekai not exactly an official term but more of what people have been calling these type of stories since it's popularity these days, regression is part of isekai since there's a change of body and/or soul across time and/or dimension. Regressions (aka turning back in time) are just not part of popular isekai types, since in Japanese media they commonly only use transmigration and reincarnation.
But yeah, Homura is one example of it. MC is still considered fine I guess since it's still in single digit and she still start off with a new method. When it's xxxth time regressing, it's just sad.

Since obviously this will entirely ended up with an unexpected baby, a daughter even, which of course will be a whole new round of accusations and misunderstandings, but! But. I sure wish that doctor won't ever preach that stupid incestuous family tradition upon the two babies. I want Damien and future baby sister to grow up happily as a very kind and happy child with her kind (and overly overprotective) older brother. I don't read the novel but I wish it will come true.
It's interesting actually how each regression actually slowly change her personality.
In her 2nd life, she's absolutely terrified of her family aftee being (accidentally) pushed to death by her brother, and so she immediately turn to Ricardo, a person from another family.
In her 3rd life, traumatized by her death (acused by a beast) after being treated coldly by Ricardo and receiving a "warm" letter from her family (pfftt yeah as if, they're just panicking cuz the her brother got no power), she turns back to her family. She decides to let go of her ability to her brother. But she's still betrayed.
Nothing is known yet from her 4th, 5th and 6th life here, but we should still be able to see how her hope died bit by bit in each regression.
In her 7th life, we're not sure yet what happened in the beginning, but there's clues:
1) she's somehow maybe close to Margaux, the abused boy. We can see that she's actually less meek enough to be able to socialize a bit. Margaux died, reason yet unknown.
2) she somehow told her brother about her regressions. Reason yet unknown.
3) Gabrielle or her somehow got taggled into something. She went to prison instead of the "weak" Gabrielle, indicating that the case is serious enough for death but the criminal is not clear outside of being the daughters of Inoaden.
4) her brother's decision in here is the last straw. Her sanity and hope broke and she killed her family out of grief and revenge.
3) she still died here, probably after killing her family while still being under suspicion, so she's is deemed guilty. Still unsure if she was killed or she commit suicide.
In her 8th life, she's absolutely ice-cold. An absolutely 180 from her first life. I'm just rambling here but I like to see how little by little she change. It's far more realistic than just changing immediately from just one regression considering how submisive and weak minded she is in the beginning. Especially since each of her death circumstances are different. I am absolutely interested in her 3rd-7th lives.
yeah but she has to be incredibly naive to even consider going back to her family or remotely trusting them. i would've absolutely snapped after the 1st life
EXACTLY! HOW CAN ONE BE SO BLIND! IN DISCLAIMER!
I guess you can say hope and love do make people blind. Especially in abused or neglected children, as they will still choose families despite the abuse. There's also the possibility that in the 4th-6th lives, she didn't actually choose her family. Maybe she only choose so in the 7th life because there's no other options, who knows. The stories are not here yet.
