He committed suicide, he wasn't killed. And yes I mean no consequences because he hasn't had to answer for half his actions. He just erased them and pretended it didn't happen. He did do horrible things, often of his own volition so far the story to never dwell on that or how old habits aren't hard to break is trash writing. And it doesn't have to be something you're currently guilty of to be hypocritical, it can be something you did in the past and never answered for. And he never did answer for it.
