"When you are driven by real convictions as I am, the environment doesn't matter."
Wow, Lance really popped off and said that. But I thoroughly enjoy this story and its genuine lessons it teaches us. From every character that was built around Mob, they've had some serious character growth in the short span of time written (obviously meant for them to delve into the story's sake). In each of their lessons, they were either corrupted by their own selfish desires, up against the social hierarchy, faced against situations that were in their odds, etc.
However, they all had one thing in common, and that was to follow their hearts, including the act of selflessness of others. It seems cliche, and I know that many manga or anime may teach this, but Mashle will always be that one book that shows it from another perspective as well. And it's well done with how the different parts can apply to different people in the real world, including some villains like the one who fought against Lance.
Furthermore, discrimination seems to be big in that world, but I love how Mash is sort of indifferent about what makes a person different. It feels as though he doesn't see through that filter because he genuinely doesn't care if someone is not "normal". Could be because he shares similar experiences or, as he's said, he acts before he thinks and is clumsy. He's not very aware, but he also isn't completely oblivious, and I love that. This story is a 10/10 for me.

If y'all are b*tches who love angsty stuff like me, I shall descend upon a bakudeku dj that made me bawl like a baby

I question this fandom every time an update appears.
Anyway, Melissa is way too badass. In the beginning, I had an idea of how her personality would play out in the story, but this was beyond my expectations. She's so cool lol.
