i really loved the crown prince character development hes not like one of those cold ml who only acts lovey dovey to the fl but he actually has a personality and is indeed kind. Hes very realistic in terms of how trauma affects someone and how they grow and overcome it through another person
its a very realistic portrayal of love during the time they lived in. The author does a good job of portraying their gender roles and concept of life into their personality well. a naive country girl who has never had much vs a odd nonchalant prince who’s had it all his life. Its a beautiful kind of love story and its clear to say they love each other after they got married. its soothing to read and refreshing since its unlike other romance manhwas . It could even be a movie the way its well written , marvellous indeed
idk if its just slow pace or the author doesn’t know how to make progressed but after 50+ chapters barely anything is revealed but it keeps you on the edge of your seat since its still so interesting , they do the romance and family moments justice but the plot execution need further review as well as depth to characters outside of the main. pretty good concept though
tbh they could have ended it after the emperor died n wrapped it up with the wedding. but i guess the dukes diseases is still crucial to the story but it lowkey feels drawn out now
hes like the first cold blooded duke I’ve seen with that much good communication skills, he didnt hesitate to reveal to her he want to go beyond the contract. I like how the plot keeps you on the edge of your seat, theres always something to expect and a new twist
no like are you genuinely dumb ? the fl pisses me off. clearly she sees how the emperor would act if Rari came back and that he would actually kill her yet shes continuing to play dumb. Her character is so poorly written. the plot of this is so rich but the execution is just so poor. a waste of good art
Awww this was so pleasing to read, 9/10 except when they divorced (that was unnecessary) could have just continued with the plot but really the romance and character development was so sweet
it has alot of plot and is well executed but the author did not do the romance justice at all…it took them practically 70+ chapters to admit each others feelings. way too slow burn for me
This was well written, lovely, no complaints, it was drawn out and well developed characters…I loved how the author intertwined every characters story line with the fl and ml. and fl is just top tear strong and smart but not too overly arrogant
honestly the meal lead can go jump off a 200 ft clifff…. I want him to suffer before the fl ever comes to love him, hes is pitifully written and his whole demeanour and attitude towards the fl makes me annoyed. instead of communicating subtly that your beginning to fall, he forces his self unto her all in the name of “contractual marriage” and says hurtful things instead. He deserves to be hurt to and i hope the author serves justice because theres really no excuse for his brash and annoying attitude. and really feel bad for our fl i hope she does not fall for him too soon and remains head strong, tbh this is the first manhwa Ive read where i wouldn’t even want the and fl end up togather because of the ml, but if she does fine love then i guess it its fine but the ml should have to beg for that shit. and Sardine, her bitchass needs to learn her place like damn, hope off dick
Ngl this was clear and precise and the story telling was spectacular, i really like the way they developed each character throughout the chapters, they even had a plot twist for after the duke got better. the communication between the fl and ml is spectacular, their romance development was very satisfying there was rarely any miscommunication and Im glad the FL always spoke her mind, very rarely do manhwas throughout write out a proper ending but this ending right here was well down…. spectacular 10/10
you know it might not follow the typical storyline of most romance manhwas nor is the art up to par but it was still beautiful in its own way, the ending was a tad bit rush but you cant deny the fact that the concept and execution of the story was beautiful, I enjoyed it and the art felt so peaceful
