And it's an amazing novel for me. The manhua is a bit weird to read (due to translation). The MC is called "Roel Ascart" in the novel so while reading this, I was twitching everytime I see the names lol.
I swear I've already commented here in mangago about the manhua, so it's either this is a reupload or my mind is playing tricks on me lmao.
I support MC getting a new life where he finally gets the love he deserves, but having his past fam be involved somewhat is kinda distasteful -- not fully distasteful, but you get what I mean. Especially when the past fam is calculating him and the mistress had to act as if she's a big deal. I do want MC to show them that he can be bigger than his past father, and being that close would give them front row seats to the MC's progress, but damn, as I said, mixed feelings.
I'll wait to see what happens next.
I bet even the wife didn't care about the husband affair since she too had one.. I read some of the story but it also explains at the beginning that his past family had 0 love for eachother if it did not bring intress
