This chapter emotionally killed me. I had a cat, ignored the signs cause I didn’t want anything to be wrong. Then I had to make the call to put her down or keep her at the animal hospital to try a treatment that wouldn’t work anyway. I put her down so her last days wouldn’t be with people that didn’t know her or loved her. I feel for MC so much right now.
