The red hair guy is a bastard no doubt about it. But I kinda feel for both their situations. The MC is overwhelmed by their situation and yet still tries his best to maintain the boundary he set due to his gratitude to the red hair’s mom. While red hair might probably had feelings for him but got hurt with how MC reacted and really just started coercing him. It sucks.
But yeah sorry to the red haired guy but the black haired beefcake is still my choice for the mc. He seems like a good guy too.
I have to give props to this series. This is by far the only series that made me physically ill since I first read Killing Stalking all those years ago. Gosh I heard this was dark, never expected it to be this dark.

Kinda sad that their friendship became complicated because of their lack of communication and maturity which is kinda understandable for their age. They kinda looked cute when they were young too.
Just that, if Joohyuk was not asshole things would have worked out and I would have cheered them on (im a sucker for bestfriends to lovers trope). It was still easily fixable by ch7 but Joohyuk might be doing some fucked up thing next chapter that will cement his assholery in this story.
I think they both hurt each other too much (joohyuk hurting the MC more), and the MC is discovering his own sexuality while meeting someone knew (and a beefcake at that). Well to be clear the MC is still not in-love with anyone at this point tho lol.
I love this type of angsty story tho so kinda hooked.
Why is this making me tear up and we haven’t even gotten to the main part yet. They were just boys who were caught in complicated racial and political conflict. Yukio was just so pure and he tries hard to make such a front for the ML and the ML while he lost the opportunity to correct him about his feelings, it is obvious that he is growing some affection for him. Gosh. Why did it have end like that?
At this point any guy is better than the two she’s with. I mean I am all for poly relationship and all but not like this. Yuki is such an asshole and Ina is so manipulative, she better grow a spine and find someone else who will cherish her and whom she can respond in return.
Shougetsu is so cute when he puffs his cheeks lol. And Kyoujima feeling it makes him so hot. This kinda started weird but I kinda feel that if this manga keeps at it with this intensity, it’ll probablybecome a very sweet manga.
Welp I mean all’s well that ends well as they say. His ex is actually quite nice and it was good they called the seme out for his inability to communicate at least they are self aware.
Not completely satisfied since I wanna see the seme to suffer just a bit but I guess he did we weren’t just shown properly his perspective. That makes this 7/10 in my books.
I kinda like how Maxi is learning to stand up for what she wants and not be too dependent on Riftan. But I can kinda see why Riftan is opposed to it. Sure, she is the only mage they have in miles, but she did not have the proper training for this kind of work.
If only Riftan trusted her more and actually helped prepare her for these things tho.
Tbh I kinda felt that the way Hyun dal reacted was justified. Kinda feels shitty to be catfished y’know. I had a lot of friends who fell for that. But kinda felt bad for Geon just a bit.
So I found their new found relationship kinda cute and much more genuine lol.
To be honest, this manhwa started a bit bland for my taste and I dropped and picked it up again from time to time, i thought it would your usual “we are already in a relationship and then someone else comes along BL” but as the series progresses, this became so much more than that.
I came to love this series actually. I love how realistic it became and how it is progressing. Gosh. I cried the past few chapters because I can’t imagine my reaction if I heard that the person I love got in an accident.
Omg a green flag alpha is so few and far in between.

I kinda like it how they communicated. Often times, we get bottoms who get hung up on being in a fuck buddy situation that didn’t express it directly to their partner then would have multiple misconceptions and miscommunications with them. So I was kinda surprised that the MC thought about them just being fuck buddies then expressed it directly a little ways after the same chapter.
So kinda like how it didn’t go down that route.
Those two should have just left taehwan alone. My gosh. He got drag by two human feces.

Based on the raws up to ch92, I guess the author is trying to make us sympathetic towards the two of them. As of anything is going to justify what they have been doing. I hope in s4 taehwan finds someone else and becomes infinitely more happy than they are

The author really should have stopped with yahwi and jooin separating.
Well the author ended it kinda abruptly so it is so rushed to the point the timeskip would have had little to no purpose.
As much as I prefer this to end as soon as it can, the author could have used up 3-5 chapters just to build stuff up to make the timeskip much more meaningful.
They could have started the same way, with Yahwi going back to korea to accidentally meet Jooin, then jooin having processed and even healed from his past, he could have at least talked with him and showed interest in reconnecting. But they did not necessarily need to get together immediately. There would have been a process to show how much Jooin and Yahwi has changed and how much stayed the same. We don’t need to see an expository monologue about that from Yahwi. It should have been a gradual process of realizing those changes.
Eventually, they would wind up meeting a few times and realizing how they still have feelings left but struggle to act upon it because of their past.
I am actually would have been willing to read an extra 3-5 or even 10 chapters just to properly resolve those things. But no. We had to just rush through everything in one chapter. Then for me, the timeskip did little to nothing at all.
A good example for using timeskip as a good tool in their story is the Manhwa “Minority” which had very superior syorytelling than this. They made time as a means for the two leads to heal, they met up, realized they still loved each other, but had their own fears and reservation but it all came blowing up in one scene after one of them gets incredibly drunk.
Anyway, I was just frustrated with this series. Tho I do just keep tabs on this just for the sake of finishing it. I have invested too much time already. Sorry this comment went on for too long. Nobody will read it anyway. Lol
