Honestly I don't think Cirrus is that big of a sociopath knowing the way he was raised. His father literally made it so that he was always in a high-stress environment, removing anyone who could have functioned as an anchor and basically driving him insane and chronically lonely. I think that he's actually somewhat well adjusted considering all the abuse, psychological and otherwise, that he had to endure from such a young age. I bet that, given the opportunity, he would thrive in a normal environmental where he's just not constantly being put through hell and back, me thinks. And istg I can't wait for it, genuinely it's the thing I'm hoping for the most, that somehow, Cirrus and Skylar can become a safe place for the other and that the can heal from all the shit they have been put through. And for the love of everything that's good, PUT THAT GODDAMN PIECE OF SHIT OF A FATHER IN JAIL.
Kwon is hot and cold and it honestly drives me insane, I can see how it could also do that for Jeon Oh. Not only now he's acting like he cares after all that went down, but throughout their whole 'relationship' he was like that too. I honestly hope that Jeon Oh will be able to solve his problems mostly on his own and without Kwon's help. Now that his father is dead, at least there won't be more loans to pay...
I also hope that he won't forgive Jaehyuk and that he's held accountable, or at least to have Jeon Oh telling him all the ways in which he hurt him. I honestly will never forget how he "saved" Jeon Oh from SA only to rape him himself. Terrible all over

I hope with all my heart that Yeonwu will realize that he isn't something that should be hidden and that he doesn't have to be ashamed ;; Alex really gave me hope that Yeonwu will finally be able to experience an actual romance with someone that treats him well, like a human being and not a fleshlight lol and that he will gain some confidence and also self respect, even if he ultimately doesn't end up dating Alex, i want him to realize that he doesn't have to put up with Taehwan's bullshit because he can do so much better than that.

I'm so ready to see Na-kyum's sister knock some sense into Na-kyum's head. He's not in his right mind. He's been through so much, the trauma of it all and him rationalizing everything that has happened to him is obviously numbing his vision and he can't see a clear picture. His mind is probably trying to protect itself from the hurting and the abuse by making him think he's in love.
All I want is for Na-kyum to break free and find his place in the world, luckily, very far away from Seungho.
I honestly don't think there's a way for them to end up together, because no matter how much Seungho may "suffer" if Na-kyum goes away, no matter how much he'll change. He can't erase what he has done, he can't just make all his wrongs right. The best for them is to stay apart and go on their on separate ways.
I personally don't even think Seungho will change all that much, even if he's deeply hurt by things in his past, he actively has been deciding to keep on being cruel and abusive to Na-kyum over and over and over again. Even when it seems he knows better, he always back tracks. Idk, dude, I simply want Na-kyum to be able to live and be happy on his own.

Yeah but we all know Seungho and Nakyum will end up together since itās canon. They arenāt the main couple for nothing. Iām interested to see how it plays out in the end and the character development. Iām very empathetic so I still believe in Seungho. I hope itās a happy ending and I hope Seungho changes, which he most likely will judging by how this is a story. Im a writer so I can predict some things but Iām still unsure. I just wanna see the end of this story already lol Iām way too curious everything is a cliffhanger rn
I agree wholeheartedly. You canāt just brush off the abuse he inflicted on the innocent nakyum with āoh heās got a dark pastā that doesnāt give him the right to not only sexually and physically abuse him but emotionally as well.
So, just to add my grain of salt. I personally I'm really disliking Riftan. I haven't been his biggest fan from the beginning, but in the latest chapters, he comes across as controlling.
Yeah, Maxi made a mistake, it was a serious mistake that could have gotten her killed, but at the end of the day, she's still learning and she had just barely dipping her toes in what it means to be, relatively, free to pursue her interests and to start to understand herself. She has a lot of self-esteem issues rooted in the abuse she suffered, and since the beginning, Riftan has treated her as nothing more than a trophy to be encased behind a glass case.
He definitely has an inferiority complex towards her, thinking her to be oh, so much better than he is. Deserving of more than he could ever provide. But the thing is that he barely talks to her, there's no trust between them, he doesn't know her and he hasn't bothered to do so at all. The only intimacy they share is sex and cuddles, but they don't really talk. Riftan really put Maxi on a pedestal and now she's stuck there.
Riftan treats Maxi as an object, really. Like a shiny toy he couldn't stand if it broke. So, instead he cages her.
Maxi also hadn't tried communicating with him, but honestly it has to be really fucking hard even if she tried, given he's never around. And so she just fullfils her duty as a wife and opens her legs pliantly whenever he wants to. She has to ask him for permission before even trying to do anything, otherwise he gets angry and lashes out at her. There's a kinda fucked up power dynamic that comes along with their arranged marriage and the seemingly medieval setting of the story (tho it's fantasy and therefore we can't really assume how the cultural landscape around relationship is like, maybe it's not the norm to be an ass to your wife over there, maybe they're as misogynistic as in real life medieval times, who knows) but anyway.
Fuck Riftan, he has to get his shit together otherwise I'm stealing Maxi away. SHE HAS HAD ENOUGH TRAUMA AS IT IS.
