Tbh that witch is a total bitch for ruining the life of someone. I mean it's not like his exs are going to never going to forget him it's going to take time to heal, but eventually they will heal and move on that is just life. I'm surprised the witch is not putting curses on everyone because there are worst people out in the world.

Tbh I thought I was ok with the Joel x chase but after reading that last chapter I just felt uncomfortable

I committed to this because I thought I could ignore the uncomfortable dynamic of Joel lusting after his kid's friend but it seems the author just couldn't stop drawing attention to that fact. Not to mention all the instances where it directly draws attention to why their relationship is such a bad idea but then just plows through to a 'happy ending' anyway while pretending nothing is wrong.
By the end I was reading this just to see what would happen and my expectations were pretty low ... but somehow I was still disappointed.
