same here. i really thought it would turn out to be boring bcz the tranlations were a bit off and the blurry pages were really bothering my eyes. but i just somehow couldnt stop reading it and soon the pages’ quality got better and the translations were getting SO MUCH better, i got myself immersed to it. i did feel so much lacking in the intro, some characters’ personality including iris’s and obviously the smartphone thing. even until the latest chapter, i dont feel the smartphone plays much role except for iris gaining some info and connecting iris and ian thru the chatting app. well yeah the fact that she’s the only one who can access the smartphone that got people labelling her as “sorcerer” and even “shaman” is actually an additional point for her to climb up the society ladder.. but other than that, i dont really see any point of the smartphone existence lol but its totally fine.. since she’s able to make such deals and get the chance to grab other nobles’ attention thanks to her “earth” memories, and also received that ‘unleasher’ title. and honestly i still dont get how this “earth” thing works and how it’s actually connected to this world. and how was iris such a dull person in her previous life? didnt she go through the “earth” life? the timeline is still vague to me, when was her “earth” life happening? how did she end up in this world? and how the hell did that yoonho with the highest iq get into this world as well? damn damn damn.
