The author use equality as a scam even tho they themselves can't even think of a reason why women are useful enough to deserve more screen time. For a story about liberating women, this manhwa is an absolute sausage fest. When even the minor male characters are notable, we have only 3 women. Sanghee is useless and thinks scheming=isolating herself from the rest of the women so that they wont steal Jinsu, Freesia is powerful, but she is only created for fanservice and only wants to be a wife-servant to Jinsu even tho she come from a country of equality. Sanghee's sister, is just there for comic relief. Meanwhile we have 20 individual men all flying around beating up shit and scheming and political battles. The manhwa quickly forget and forgives that they literally force women to kowtow, use them as plantation slaves and all that nasty stuff. Cos boys will be boys right? *pukes* And sanghee gets the useless power of becoming a human battery for men, and just like her Korean, never gets mentioned again for her to Master and use to build her own supporters to rebel the unfair regime. And Baekje is uh equal cos women and men can love each other? Is the manhwa seriously tellin me that a woman's only worth is to be a man's wife?
there was a time where things were exactly like this centuries ago and even now there countries who discriminates women BUT the author missed the part where there are also men who got used the same way enslaved and starved and usually tortured; somehow the timeline is similar/close to that time historically
What's irking me right now is WHY oh WHY isn't there a group of women teaming up with Sanghee??! Isn't she there for a revolution? why isn't she making use of her powers and they can't be awakened just like that, she has to try harder BUT no~~ she keeps on dragging and sucking up to males
The story should have picked up on equality sooner as in giving a spotlight to ladies or want change there would be at least one in a 1000 that's brave no?!
