tbh they ARE written correctly and despite the whole “we are connected by ball” bs it doesn’t change the fact that kageyama expected commitment from hinata despite rejecting him which is an ASSHOLE move
and hinata is just being annoyingly loyal, no self respect at all but that’s pretty accurate to his character so
a comment underneath explained their relationship really well and i agree they have such a bond that goes beyond most people’s understanding INCLUDING MINE LMAO but their love for volleyball which only then connects them is so true to their character

i wish we got more wholesome interactions between the yoon brothers in present time bc they seemed a bit distant from each other imo idk, would’ve also been nice to see a scene where yoo min actually realised beom jae was his little brother’s bf bc he never really acknowledged it despite his hatred towards him LOL
also SO SO HAAPPY the author confirmed that there was NO romantic feelings between yeom ra and yo min bc despite the tension between them; it is very obvious neither harboured feelings for the other. like the author said: it was obsession from loneliness on one end and pity with loathing on the other
