ok this totally isnt a main problem w jinx but what exactly do they see in each other besides physical attraction and compatibility? dan has barely done anything memorable in jaekyung for him to fall in love with him besides be the first person to show him empathy while also satisfying his jinx i guess? and jaekyung has been a total ass to dan (the only reasons dan ever gives for his attraction to him is that he protected him physically + supports him financially), they haven't had any other notable interactions besides arguing or sex. at least in bj alex dg was in love with jiwon from the start and jiwon fell in love w dg for his quirky personality and taste. jaekyung is a piece of work, but dan is also so bland as a love interest. he literally has nothing going for him except for his turmoil.
It might sound stretchy but i think maybe just maybe for dan he is someone who has saved him from some of his problems (debt and his debtors, his fear to not be able to support his granma) though created new ones at the same time. What is dan for him, idk. Maybe the first person who showed him love and care in a long time while they also cohabitated. He probably got lots of awe and love from his fans, respect from colleagues but it does not seem that there is anyone around him who can stand his shitty personality and just be gentle and caring towards him, like a family, like a mother would love him.
