I read this without reading Kiss me, Liar. So far the plot isn’t really affected by the previous work of the author ~ ^_^ It wasn’t that confusing imo :)

I’ve read the novel without reading kiss me liar (bc it looks toxic lol) and I can say I haven’t really been confused at all concerning it being a sequel. The only thing a little confusing is when Josh is concerned over his sister’s relationship with her boss(?) for reasons that were probably only mentioned in the other story

Well, Emma (beta) works for an dominant alpha who is known to be a womanizer and preferes beta women, and Josh is an overprotective brother, nothing more.
But Josh knows his sister wouldn't be interested in Keith, he is not her type. Yeonwoo is her type.lol
She doesn't like males with a lot of muscles, she irgnores them even if they are interested (there is an poor alpha coworker who is). Why? probably that could be the reason:

When Yeonwoo had his babyshower for their second son, under the person he invited were Josh, Emma, and Dane. Dane was probably the most promiscuous omega in creation back then lol.
Emma and Dane talked and interacted a lot to piss off Josh, which worked.:D
To Yeonwoo Emma answered, when he asked, that theres is nothing between them and they are only doing it because of Josh. ....And she would never ever date anyone who has bigger breasts than her! lol Dane's chest aka ***** (the name Grayson gave it would be a spoiler if you didn't read DMIYC^^ His naming habit is really bad.XD) is "really big", I mean Dane is 196 cm and the way he is build so his chest is massive.

With that being said, if my hunches are true and Guwon really did not kill Jinwoo's dad, I kinda want the plot to be Jinwoo made a mistake -> killed Guwon -> the world ends -> Jinwoo's guilt ate him -> no happy ending <3
