If I hear one more of y'all victim blame this kid when we have explained multiple times why he likely did not tell anyone, I'm gonna throw a fit.
I left this alone for a bit at chapter 49, came back to see how things were and agonized all over again. Why do i continue to torture myself this way? Great question, ask someone else.
Okay so like, I started this yesterday and almost dropped it twice. I will say I've read this author's previous works and honestly, I thought they were okay but never grabbed my attention longer than the first few chapters. This one had me thinking it'd be the same or maybe worse cause I was really unnerved by Han, like when I say he was not passing my vibe check, he seriously was NOT passing. But I picked it up cause despite the people saying it's bad, I was curious about the one's who we're giving it a chance. These last two chapters MIGHT have given me hope and I'm seriously hoping that this lil ephiany Han is finally having is gonna make him understand what he's doing wrong cause I straight up was think "asshole" the entire time I got his perspective. I'll keep reading and cross my fingers.
I think I need to lie down for a sec, y'all can play the blame game on this one and I'll wait it out over here in the corner while I wait for the characters to get their communication and therapy.
I CAN'T EVEN RATIONALIZE IF THIS IS THE RIGHT DECISION OR NOT CAUSE RN THIS COULD ONLY END BADLY MENTALLY
I just wanna give appreciation to all the people clapping back at the victim blamers and the people reaching out to let people who have been victims that they are valid, you guys make reading comments so worth it cause it's so hard to have hope in humanity sometimes.
I'm so glad that you all are popping in and burying the ones here making troll comments and genuinely ignorant comments about a victim, because I was straight up about to cry.
Gonna take this chance to remind everyone that their relationship has only taken place over a small amount of time, like a few weeks to a couple months, based on how the timeline looks over the chapters after they start dating. Down low relationships take time, and I know some of us are used to faster paced relationship progress but it seems that this manga tales the time to get Shizumi slowly into the process of being more open about himself and the relationship. Like in the last couple chapters, where it's starting to be hinted that he's noticing the accommodations that Kiumi makes for him and he even made a small comment on it last chapter.
This is gonna take a bit, cause that's how it works. People who are very closeted and unable to openly express their relationships don't just wake up one morning and go,
"I'm in a relationship now! Time to tell everyone!"
Even in straight relationships, this is sometimes the case, granted for different reasons, but that's just how it goes.
(No, I'm not arguing with anyone, thought I'd mention that cause back when comments used to be open people got heated during debates :/ )
