Unpopular opinion but being the head of the town in a society where medicine isn’t being produced anymore and decisions like that would have a massive impact on the security of the community….i think he is actually right. Like I wouldn’t be killing people over it but withholding medicine may be required. I think being the head would also mean having to be quite cold and militant in these circumstances.

Oh there’s honestly so many variables like we don’t know the shelf life, we don’t know how much they have in reserves, don’t know the rarity of the medicine or if this kid is frequently sickly. Also do they treat the elderly or chronically ill differently? I personally think kids should be given meds obviously just more noting I can see where the mentality stems from
