I'm reading the last few updates but for some reason, Alex's love doesn't feel real. Now I may be losing touch of what's been happening the last few chapters since it's been a while, but aside from their lust their own chemistry doesn't feel real. A few chapter ago he was the worst person no one could stand. /I/ couldn't stand him. And that "talk"? "They may have "talked" it out but that sure as hell didn't feel like the closure we needed to justify Alex's past behavior and actions. I still don't forgive him for DG's sake and this sudden "love" still makes it all the more fake as it really it. This is just bad writing on the creator's mistake.

I don't consider it love either, and it's difficult to move past that non-conversation conversation. So I'm just treating it as two people who have major crushes on each other in the beginning honeymoon period of their relationship. I mean, think about it, most people in this world say I love you without really actually feeling love, it's more so connection and familiarity than anything else. But yes, overall, the writing was badly paced and cut way too much out of the story. There was honestly no catharsis, which is pretty damn important for a story, especially a redemption story.
OMG what trip
